Short Story

`````FORESHADOW!`````````

Lately something's been going on with Maka. Whenever she was
upset or couldn't handle pressure she was in, she would run off to
the Cuttlefish Exhibit in Death Citys' local zoo. So everone thought
it would be better if they all went for fun, instead of Maka on a
runaway.

Patti: "OK, LETS GO SEE ANIMALS!!!!!"

All: "YAY!!!!"

Maka:*Smiles, smile disappears, runs back to the Cuttlefish Arena.*

Soul:*Turns around to wonder why Maka isn't coming, and sees her
running from the group*, "....MAKA!"*runs after her*


Maka:*Blankly staring at cuttlefish*

Soul:"Maka!"*Runs to where she is and is now sitting next to her*,"Why
did you run off?"

Maka:*Still staring*, "Is it so bad I like cuttlefish?"

Soul:"No...but you keep running off here. Something wrong?", he said
with a concerned look on his face.

Maka:*Stares at cuttlefish like he didn't say anything*. "I like
cuttlefish because they're different. I feel strangley connected to
different...like there's something..or someone that changed my life
who just happened to be...different".*Turns to soul and looks him
in the eyes as if she was hoping he would know the answer*

Soul:"I..I think I know what you mean."

Maka:*She started looking slightly disapointed and looked away*.
"Trust me, you don't."

Soul:*He started looking confused*. "What do you mean, Maka?"

Maka:*Thats when she felt it. She knew that she had to spell it out
for him. She was mad that he couldn't piece the puzzle together and
find the answer. She was mad that...he couldn't figure out he was
the missing piece of the puzzle. So she turned and faced him*,"YOU
COULDN'T POSSIBLY KNOW I WAS TALKING ABOUT YOU!"

Soul:*He was confused in what was happening*,"Huh?"

Maka:*She looked at him meaningfuly, but was still shy.*,"YOU'RE
the differnt one. YOU'RE my reason to feeling connected to
different."

Liz:*Watching from behind the bushes eating popcorn*,"This is
getting good"

Tsubaki: whispers:"LIZ, what are you doing?!"

Liz: whispers:"I'm watching my plan take action!"

Tsubaki: whispers:"...Huh?"

Liz: whispers:"Why do you think I made us come? I made a plan to
bring them together!..now SHHH! They're talking again!"

Soul:*This was something he wasn't expecting, and he does look like
kind of an idiot with a blush on his face*, "R-really? I thought
you hated me.." >//>

Maka:*She walked toward him shyly but with confedence*,"..I can never
hate you...soul, I-I love you, ok."

Liz: whispers:"AWWWW! They remind me of me and Kid!"

Tsubaki: whispers:"Oh wow.."

Maka:*She looked away blushing*,"But you dont feel the same for me,
so I suppose you're gonna leave me." *she starts to walk away*

Soul:*Finally realizing whats happening,* "..Wait, MAKA!"*grabs her
and pulls her into a hug* "I never said I don't love you because I
was hiding the fact that I do..don't go deciding for other people
*He said looking a bit 'uncool' with a blush on his cheeks, but he
didn't care.*

Maka:*She felt a bit embarrassed she said he didn't love her when he
just said he did, but there was one thing that still confused her*,
"But.. how come you always called me-"*she didn't have a chance to
finish her sentence because, belive it or not, she was interupted by
a kiss from Soul.*

Liz&Tsubaki: "Awwww" >3<

*after what  about was 30seconds, they pulled away*

Maka:*Blushing*,"Then..why did you always say I had 'no-sex-appeal'
and called me 'Tiny-tits' or 'Bookworm'?"

Soul:"I didn't want the fact I love you to slip out"

Maka:*Slightly giggled. She loves it when he says he loves her. It
makes her feel like she matters to the most important person in her
life, because she does.*

~~~Liz and Tsubaki were too busy talking about what just happened to
notice Soul and Maka were no longer there~~~

Kid and the others came because, well, lets just say Patti got them
all kicked out of the zoo from an "incedent" in the giraffe area

Kid:"THERE YOU ARE! We've been looking all over for you guys!"

Liz:"Oh...really...wait! Where are Soul and Maka??"

Black*Star: "well they're not in the zoo, that's for sure. Lets check
their house"

Black*Star:*Busts down the door as if he were a cop or something*
"MAKA, SOUL, YOU GUYS HO-". *Black*Star stopped mid-sentence at the
sight he was seeing: Maka and Soul making-out on the couch, and
apperantly paying no attention to Black*Star because they were too
caught up in eachother to notice anything that isn't themselves.*

Liz: whispers:"NICE ONE BLACKSTAR, NOW  THEY'RE GONNA HATE US
FOREVER!"

(rest of people there):0o0 *yep. they all stood in awe, jaws to the
floor as they wittnessed Soul and Makas' make-out session on the
couch*
